We’re back today with more new bridal gowns and fashion trends from the frontlines of Bridal Market in NYC!

First up, Mara Marian-Harwood of Events By LMG–one of our Bridal Market guest bloggers, along with the team at Alta Moda Bridal–gives us a gorgeous glimpse into one her favorite new collections at market: Lela Rose Bridal. Not familiar with Lela Rose’s bridal designs? Allow Mara to introduce you–you’ll be glad she did (we are!)…

It’s practically impossible to pick just one favorite bridal gown collection. So many labels are impossible to compare as their aesthetics differ so greatly. Although I can’t declare the new Lela Rose collection as my favorite, I can confidently predict that it will be among my top five favorite (of literally hundreds of) collections I have had the exciting opportunity to enjoy while at market.

I wasn’t particularly familiar with the Lela Rose Bridal Gown collection before today; however, I already liked the designer’s ready-to-wear fashions and I have always admired the Lela Rose bridesmaid dresses that are available at Salt Lake City boutique Lily & Iris. Having had some familiarity with Lela Rose, I was very excited to get more acquainted with the designer’s bridal gowns, which have a sort of organic-meets-preppy feel for the bride who desires effortless grace.

Upon arrival at the Lela Rose New York City showroom, I immediately knew this would be a collection I would love…and “love” is an understatement. The attention to detail paid to each gown was incredible. Simple silhouettes with jaw-dropping details hung delicately from the garment bars as I anticipated the entrance of the models. Unique lace–unlike any lace I have ever seen–intricate bead and crystal work, fashion-forward belts, and beautifully designed backs elicited gasps and “omigod!” almost continuously for an hour.

See for yourself…

Dying over that last gown with the full lace back! We are so in love with the trend of illusion necklines in bridal fashion, and it’s a look Lela Rose has perfected. Phenomenal collection!

Thank you Mara for sharing this designer spotlight!

Coming up, there’s more Bridal Market coverage–including more runway recaps–from Mara and the gang at Alta Moda Bridal. Stay tuned, fashion fans!
